Saturday March 14, 2009 - Life Member Mark Mikkelsen had his head shaved for the Leukaemia Foundation fund raiser held over the past several weeks. Mark and his team raised over $10,000 for the appeal, including donations from the Club and its members. Shayne and Mark’s youngest daughter Kiara is having treatment for Leukaemia at Prince of Wales Hospital and is making steady progress thanks to the team at the Hospital and the Foudation.

Sunday March 2, 2009 - Congratulations to Sam Barning for fighting off all challengers to win 2009 Champion Small Fry Angler award at the prestigious NSWGFA Interclub tournament staged in Port Stephens in early March.
