PORT HACKING GFC & SHIMANO FISHING AUSTRALIA ANNOUNCE NAMING RIGHTS SPOSNORSHIP DEAL
It is with great pleasure we can announce that Port Hacking GFC has agreed to a sponsorship deal with Shimano Fishing Australia that will see them become the major naming rights sponsor of our annual tournament and further club support. It was also decided and agreed that in honor of the late Life Member and huge club supporter, John Dunphy, that the tournament would be renamed in his honour. The new name will be the – John Dunphy, Shimano Port Hacking 100. Johns name is synonymous within the global fishing industry as well as Australia so it is a perfect fit to continue his great legacy for a sport he so passionately loved and fought for.
Shimano have always been a fantastic supporter of Port Hacking GFC over the year. This continued sponsorship support only shows how deep and strong the relationship is between these two brands and will further solidify our great club in the right position for future growth, we thank Shimano Fishing Australia again for their valued support.
The inaugural John Dunphy, Shimano Port Hacking 100 Tournament will be run over 16th & 17th May, 2015 from the Royal Motor Yacht Club, Port Hacking, this year’s tournament will see some exciting new inclusions within the prize categories and structure, so stay tuned for further details or contact Paul Barning on 0418 211 848.
